Damn.

In most respects everything is going fantastic right now.  My CD content and artwork have been uploaded to Discmakers and CD Baby, Dauphne and I are only two weeks away from a two-week trip to Ireland with friends, and everything is on an upswing musically speaking.  However, I was just notified that a good friend of mine passed away today.  I haven’t felt the full impact of this yet.  He had been sick for awhile and every time it seemed he was improving there would be another setback.  His brother has been great about keeping us all updated on his condition.  The last several days had been a roller coaster for the guy and after yesterday’s update I began to feel that he was in real trouble.  I was right.  He was my friend.  One of the good ones.  I’m beginning to feel the impact of this so I’m going to close this post.  Before I leave, I’d like to remind you all that tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.  You’d better be damned glad for what you’ve got today.
