‘Elo, kiddies.
Wow! I am a fortunate dude. Last night’s show at Cajun’s Wharf was unbelievable! I haven’t performed for a crowd that enthusiastic since I was in my twenties and I’m feeling a good kind of pain today. It was also my first Cajun’s gig in over a year so it was really great to see so many of the old-timers again. I’m so happy that so many of my friends showed up as well. Probably my favorite thing about last night, however, was the great bunch guys I performed with. Obviously, Brian and I do a lot of things together, duo shows, recording, etc.. but to also share the stage with George “Scooter” Mitchell, Brent Labeau, and Stephen Winter is truly a treat. We’ll be back at Cajun’s very soon.
Coming up next Friday I have a last minute addition to the gig calendar: Dugan’s Pub with The Deltatones. It will be a night of great jazz, blues, and R&B and I’m looking forward to it. In the next few weeks The Hi-Balls will reunite for two gigs and I’ll be doing a couple of solo shows at Cregeens. Stay Happy, everyone.
