Floating away over here..

The rain continues here in North Little Rock.  It’s hard to gripe after the long dry spell, but griping is what I do best so here it goes.  Stop already!

Last night at Markham Street Grill and Pub with The Brian Nahlen Band was a lot of fun.  We had some moments.  Before that, at Cajun’s Wharf, we had another great gig.  Those guys are true pros and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to jam with them.  The rest of the weekend is wide open for me but I think my wife and I plan to lay low and straighten up the house.  We’ve got a plumber coming sometime soon to replace the flexible pipe that the rat chewed through and he will, unfortunately, have to enter the house to complete the job.  With our schedules and our cats, there’s not much chance of keeping a clean house.

Next Friday night, December 4th, I’ve got another solo show at Cregeen’s Irish Pub in Argenta.  Really looking forward to that.  I like to rock out electric but these days it feels so good with just me and my box guitar.  Oh, yeah.. my second session at Brown Carpet Studio went very well.  I’m on the way to having my first solo CD.  The future is exciting!
