Ashes, the rain, and more rain.
So basically I’m sitting here waiting for these floodwaters to carry my ass down the street. I haven’t seen rain like this in a while, for real. Naturally I had to stop by the grocery store before going home and I literally saw a wiper caddy floating away from the gas station. I’m guessing that doesn’t happen often. Hopefully there will be minimum suffering from today’s heavy rainfall.
Friday night I’ll be flying solo for my first ever show at Core Brewing Co. in Argenta. I can’t believe how many craft brewing places are opening up in LR/NLR. This has to be a record of some sort. Bring it on, I say! Saturday night I’m back at Cajun’s Wharf with the Brian Nahlen Band. You almost feel like a star when you play Cajuns and I need some star-feelin’ right about now. In the month of April look for gigs at Thirst N Howl, Blue Canoe Brewing Co., Ya Ya’s, and Reno’s.
Hale out.
