So close I can TASTE it!
The music is done and this weekend jay, the proprietor of Brown Carpet Studio, and I are going to meet up over there and submit the music files to Discmakers. Since completing the album I haven’t been over there very much and I’m starting to miss the place. Jay and I have become very good friends throughout this process and I look forward to many more years of hanging out, whether or it be recording, jamming, or just drinking beer. The graphics are a work in progress. Hopefully that will all be ready for submission by the middle of next week. My enthusiasm has given way to exhaustion and I just want the finished product in my hand so I can get on with promoting it and hopefully recouping the expenses. If it turns a profit, even better. Tomorrow I’m doing another solo show at the Flying Saucer in the River Market District where I can truly be ignored by the best. Next weekend, Core Public House, Reno’s Cafe, and, in two weeks, my first appearance at the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies during one of the art-walks. That will be really nice. Hale out!
